Faith is used 256 times in the Bible. Of those 256 times, it appears only 15 times in the Old Testament.
Galatians 5:6
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Romans 12:3
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God [YAHUAH] has given you.
Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:8-10 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Note: the ancient Greek texts list faith not faithfulness as a fruit.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God [YAHUAH], because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Romans 1:5
Through him and for his name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. Note: Paul is speaking of Yahushua Messiah
Romans 3:27-28
Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith. 28For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.
Romans 3:31
Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God [YAHUAH]— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.
Galatians 3:14
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus [Yahushua], so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
Galatians 3:23-27
Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law. 26You are all sons of God [YAHUAH] through faith in Christ Jesus [Yahushua], 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Galatians 5:4-6
You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. 6For in Christ Jesus [Yahushua] neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
2 Thessalonians 1:3-4
We ought always to thank God [YAHUAH] for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. 4Therefore, among God's [YAHUAH's]churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
2 Peter 1:3-11
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 5For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7and to godliness, brotherly love. 15Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others. Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our area of activity among you will greatly expand, 16so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. For we do not want to boast about work already done in another man's territory.Ephesians 4:3-16 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father [YAHUAH] of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." 9(What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's [YAHUAH's] people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God [YAHUAH] and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. James 2:19
You believe that there is one God [YAHUAH]. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Romans 14:23 But the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin. 1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Habakkuk 2:4 "See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous will live by his faith Isaiah 26:1-4 In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts. 2 Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith. 3 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. 4 Trust in YAHUAH forever, for YAHUAH, YAHUAH, is the Rock eternal. 6,828 times, Bible translators changed our Creator's stated name "YHWH" [pronounced, YAHUAH] to "the LORD" or "GOD". This can be easily verified by reading the Preface of most Bible translations. The translators used all capital letters for LORD or GOD to differentiate between the word "Lord" which was also used by the ancient Old Testament and New Testament writers. It is out of respect to my Creator, Father YAHUAH, that I have reinserted His name back into His Word as He dictated to His original writers.
