Psalm 118:8 It is better to take refuge in YAHUAH than to trust in human beings. Psalm 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. Proverbs 28:26 Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe. Jeremiah 9:4 “Beware of your friends; do not trust any of your people. For every one of them is a deceiver, and every friend a slanderer. Jeremiah 12:6 Your relatives, members of your own family— even they have betrayed you; they have raised a loud cry against you. Do not trust them, though they speak well of you. Jeremiah 17:5 This is what YAHUAH says: “Cursed are those who trust in mortals, who depend on flesh for their strength and whose hearts turn away from YAHUAH. Micah 7:5 Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with the woman who lies in your embrace be careful of your words. Proverbs 14:12 & 16:25 There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in YAHUAH with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. John 12:35-36 Then Jesus [Yahushua] told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Those who walk in the dark do not know where they are going. Put your trust in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus [Yahushua] left and hid himself from them. John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God [YAHUAH]; trust also in me. My Father’s house has plenty of room; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. Note: Yahushua talking to his disciples. 1 Corinthians 4:2 Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. Trusting the Understanding of Scripture: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God [YAHUAH] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
1 Corinthians 1:20-21Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God [YAHUAH] made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God [YAHUAH] the world through its wisdom did not know him, God [YAHUAH] was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 1 Corinthians 1:27-31But God [YAHUAH] chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God [YAHUAH] chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God [YAHUAH] chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus [Yahushua], who has become for us wisdom from God [YAHUAH]—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord [YAHUAH].” Note: Paul quoting Jeremiah 9:24 2 Peter 1:16For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord JesusYahushua] Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 2 Peter 1:20-21
1 Timothy 6:20-21Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith. Galatians 1:8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s [YAHUAH's] curse! Galatians 1:11-12I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus [Yahushua] Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God [YAHUAH], so that we may understand what God [YAHUAH] has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 1 John 2:27As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
