Luke 11:13

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”   Note: This is Yahushua speaking.

Acts 2:38

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus [Yahushua] Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

 Acts 5:32

We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God [YAHUAH] has given to those who obey him.”

Acts 8:15

When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,

Acts 10:45

The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles.

Acts 15:8

God [YAHUAH], who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us.

Romans 5:5

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s [YAHUAH's] love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope [YAHUAH] fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God [YAHUAH]? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God [YAHUAH]with your body.

Ephesians 1:13

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

1 Thessalonians 4:8

Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God [YAHUAH], the very God[YAHUAH] who gives you his Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:14

Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

Titus 3:5

he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

2 Peter 1:21

For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God [YAHUAH] as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.  Note: the ancient Greek texts list faith, not faithfulness as a fruit of the Spirit.

John 17

After Jesus [Yahushua] said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:

   “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God [YAHUAH], and Jesus [Yahushua] Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

    6 “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. Note: Yahushua says the name YAHUAH has power and he has that name. Yahushua means "YAHUAH saves". Verse 6 in the KJV and NASB reads, : I have manifested your name to the men whom you gave me out of the world. ..." There is power in the name YAHUAH.

   13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.

    20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

   24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

   25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”  Note: verse 26 in the KJV and NASB reads, "I have made your name known to them, ..." His Father's name is YAHUAH. 

The Spirit of God [YAHUAH]

Matthew 3:16
As soon as Jesus [Yahushua] was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God {YAHUAH]descending like a dove and alighting on him.

Matthew 10:20
for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Matthew 12:28
But if it is by the Spirit of God [YAHUAH] that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God [YAHUAH] has come upon you.

Romans 8:9
You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God [YAHUAH] lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus [Yahushua] from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Romans 8:14
For those who are led by the Spirit of God [YAHUAH] are the children of God [YAHUAH].

Romans 15:18-19
I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God [YAHUAH] by what I have said and done—by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God [YAHUAH]. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:14
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God [YAHUAH] but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:11
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God [YAHUAH].

1 Corinthians 6:11
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus [Yahushua]Christ and by the Spirit of our God [YAHUAH].

1 Corinthians 7:40
In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is—and I think that I too have the Spirit of God [YAHUAH].

1 Corinthians 12:3
Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God [YAHUAH] says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus [Yahushua] is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:3
You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God [YAHUAH], not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Ephesians 4:30
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [YAHUAH], with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

1 John 4:2
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God [YAHUAH]: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus [Yahushua] Christ has come in the flesh is from God [YAHUAH],

The Spirit of the Lord

Luke 4:18
“The Spirit of YAHUAH is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, Note: Yahushua is reading from the Isaiah scroll, Isaiah 61:1

Acts 5:9
Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord [YAHUAH]? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.”

Acts 8:39
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord [YAHUAH] suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.

Acts 16:7
When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus [Yahushua] would not allow them to.

Romans 8:9

2 Corinthians 3:17

1 Peter 1:10-11

The Spirit of Truth

John 14:16-17
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

John 15:26
“When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.

John 16:13
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

The Spirit of Holiness

Romans 1:1-4
Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus [Yahushua], called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God [YAHUAH]— 2 the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures 3 regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, 4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God [YAHUAH] in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus [Yahushua] Christ our Lord.

The Spirit of Faith

2 Corinthians 4:13
It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus [Yahushua] from the dead will also raise us with Jesus [Yahushua] and present us with you to himself.

The Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation

Ephesians 1:17
I keep asking that the God [YAHUAH] of our Lord Jesus [Yahushua] Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

The Spirit of Grace

Hebrews 10:29
How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God [YAHUAH] underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

The Spirit of Glory

1 Peter 4:14
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God [YAHUAH] rests on you. Note: the name of Christ is Yahushua which means YAHUAH saves.

The Spirit of Prophecy

Revelation 19:9-10
Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me, “These are true words of God [YAHUAH].” 10 Then I fell at his feet to worship him.But he said to me, “Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus [Yahushua]; worship God [YAHUAH]. For the testimony of Jesus [Yahushua] is the spirit of prophecy.”  Note: NASB is quoted here because the NIV is found lacking.


WARNING:

1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God [YAHUAH], because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Romans 11:8

as it is written: “God [YAHUAH] gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”

 1 Corinthians 2:12
What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God [YAHUAH], so that we may understand what God [YAHUAH] has freely given us.

1 John 4:3
but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus [Yahushua] is not from God [YAHUAH]. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

1 John 4:6
We are from God [YAHUAH], and whoever knows God [YAHUAH] listens to us; but whoever is not from God [YAHUAH] does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
