Power in the Blood

Deuteronomy 8:17

You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember YAHUAH your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

Romans 1:16

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God [YAHUAH] for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Romans 9:21-24

 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use? 22 What if God [YAHUAH], choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— 24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope [YAHUAH] fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:17-18

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God [YAHUAH].

1 Corinthians 2:3-5

 I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s [YAHUAH's] power.

1 Corinthians 4:20

For the kingdom of God [YAHUAH] is not a matter of talk but of power.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholdsWe demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God [YAHUAH], and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Ephesians 3:17-21

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God [YAHUAH]. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus [Yahushua] throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Colossians 1:10-12

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord [YAHUAH] and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God [YAHUAH],11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.  Note: Remember from the Heart of the Bible page that "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control." (Galatians 5:22-23) 

Colossians 2:9-11

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity [YAHUAH] lives in bodily form, 10 and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. 11 In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God [YAHUAH], who raised him from the dead.

1 Thessalonians 1:4-6

For we know, brothers loved by God [YAHUAH], that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord [Yahushua]; in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God [YAHUAH]did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

2 Timothy 3:1-6

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God [YAHUAH]— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

James 5:16

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

1 Peter 1:3-6

 Praise be to the God and Father [YAHUAH] of our Lord Jesus [Yahushua] Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Yahushua] Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s [YAHUAH's] power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
